The String Swing dulcimer wall hanger was designed for easy access while also showcasing your beautiful instrument on the wall. The dulcimer cradle is hand welded with a black powder coated finish for durability and lined with a soft tubing to prevent scratches. This hanger is best for ‘scroll type dulcimer headstocks’. For guitar style headstocks, we recommend the CCO1K Guitar Keeper. The wood blocks that the dulcimer cradles are attached to are made of responsibly harvested, authentic North American hardwood handcrafted by local Amish. There are four species of hardwood available (Cherry, Oak, Ash and Black Walnut). Natural wood color may vary.  Made in the USA Backed with a lifetime structural warranty Mounting Hardware Included Please note, dulcimers vary greatly in headstock shape, therefore; this hanger will not work for all dulcimers.  Specifications: See photos above Installation Instructions: Choose location for hanger.  Drive screws through mounting holes of hanger into wall using a phillips screwdriver.  If a wall stud is not found, these pilot holes are necessary for installing the plastic toggles.  To do this, use a screwdriver to push and turn the toggle clockwise until flush.  Mount hanger with screws into plastic toggles.  (If mounting to a concrete or brick surface, please do not use the enclosed hardware.  Appropriate masonry screws can be bought at your local hardware store.) The recommended weight limit for use of these hangers is 15lbs or less.  Do not reuse toggles for remounting.
