Early spring is a good time to remove dangerously invasive plants from woodlines, both on andsurrounding your property. Japanese barberry and burning bush are easy to spot now as they leaf out earlier than native plants. Community diligence is much needed to save our native flora and fauna. For great information on invasive plants and how to remove them, visit Uconn's Invasive Plant Working Group -http://www.cipwg.uconn.edu.
