Raposo J. Silva Viola Bow

This viola bow from the workshop of Marco Raposo was made by the Archetier J. Silva. Branded with his name, the red brown pernambucco stick is round in shape and changing to octagonal at the butt end. A striking ebony frog is fitted with a large oval pearl eye. The stick is moderately flexible and weighs in at 70.1 grams.
