Messiah (Oratorio, 1741) - Violin I (Violin 1 Part). By George Frideric Handel (1685-1759). For Choral, Violin (Violin). Choral Large Works. Baroque. Difficulty: difficult. Orchestral part. Standard notation and vocal cues. 41 pages. G. Schirmer #OR43779. Published by G. Schirmer.
Composed in 1742, Handel's Messiah remains the epitome of the modern oratorio. An awesome masterpiece, it combines choruses, arias, and recitatives into a huge lyric work altogether nondenominational in character.
