For the Versatile Performing Artist and Composer MIDI circuitry converts analog signal into digital, enabling you to create any possible kind of sound, from duplicating the sound of other instruments to creating all-new sounds. Designed to interact with the Roland GR55 synthesizer and HP Lutherie’s own presets, but can also work with other MIDI systems, with the performer modifying the presets. The Iris MIDI Standard plays perfectly in non-MIDI mode also, through any amplifier. Design is based on the Iris Electro Solidbody Violin.
