Britten's critically acclaimed opera Peter Grimes was first performed in 1945 and has become a part of the standard repertoire. Additionally, the orchestral concert suite Four Sea Interludes is frequently performed, and includes the movements Dawn, Sunday Morning, Moonlight and Storm.
