Evah Pirazzi Gold Viola

Evah Gold Viola is a synthetic core string set (except for the A). Unlike the standard Evah Pirazzi set, which is primarily for soloists. the Gold sound doesn't stick out, and blends in so well in an orchestra. The sound is similar to that of Obligato (warm) but much more powerful and has a better projection.

The overall tension is in between Obligato and regular Evah.

One of the biggest selling point of Evah Gold is the A string. It’s very, very clear and warm. Something that Larsen does pretty well, and Pirastro might have done an extraordinary job here. Unlike Passione, which is pretty clear but rather bright, Evah Gold A, with its clarity, warmth, and power, has a very good chance of replacing Larsen.
