Dotzauer's Violoncello Method, Opus 165 was revolutionary upon publishing, advocating, for example, the novel practice of holding the bow at the frog and not above it.  Dotzauer also published a variety of other pedagogical works, most of which are still commonly used today.  This method was published with a second cello part both to add interest to the exercises and to introduce ensemble playing.Edited by Nathan Stutch, published by International Music Company.Difficulty: A1-A3 (Apprentice Rating)
