All Despiau's French style bridges have a wide heart and a generous amount of wood supported by a rounded arch. These elements produce sounds rich in harmonics. When choosing bridges, we recommend considering 2 major criteria:
- The fingerboard or neck projection of the instrument you're working on
- The amount of time you wish to spend carving and fitting
