Product Description
Originally composed around 1770, Boccherini's Cello Concerto Number 9 was extensively rearranged in 1895 by Grutzmacher in the style of a Romantic concerto. The Grutzmacher edition has been the most commonly played version of this concerto over the past century, but this particular edition does not use his arrangement. Although this concerto is considered Advanced, it is often used to introduce students to difficult solo repertoire. It does make full use of the cello's entire range, but it does so without large jumps between positions.Published by Breitkopf and Hartel. Arranged by Fritzsch. Cello and Piano Reduction.Difficulty: Asta Grade 5
