Ad Amore. (CME in High Voice). By Lee Kesselman. For Choral, Bells (SSAA A Cappella). In High Voice. 8 pages. Boosey & Hawkes #M051481149. Published by Boosey & Hawkes.
Lee Kesselman has created a stunning fanfare-like concert opener of short duration, specifically intended for the Allegro Con Brios (Kansas City area) tour to Italy. Non-pitched bells are added to announce the choir in the age-old tradition of church bells. The Italian text, based on lines from Dantes Divine Comedy, speaks of the qualties of Goodness. Selected by several All State choirs, this is an excellent festival or contest work for treble ensembles. Duration: 1:40.
Performed by Women's Chamber Ensemble, Michigan State University, Sandra Snow, conductor.
