Scott Cao Model 850M Violin

Hand carved from European tone-woods by individual makers in the Scott Cao workshop. Spruce top of medium to close grain. Two piece maple back of medium to narrow flame. Ribs and scroll similar. Antiqued in the style of the original violin and finished in an oil varnish of brown color on a golden ground.

Built with Bosnian maple, Italian spruce without antique look.
