Locatellis Opus 6 Sonatas were composed in 1736, in the middle of the composers career. A student of Corellis, Locatelli initially echoed his teachers style, but through the course of his career he developed more and more of a unique sound. He ended his life sounding more like Vivaldi than Corelli. This particular edition comes with two basso continuo parts, one for piano, and one for cello or bass.
