Joy, Joy, Joy: 24 Christmas Carols (Four Violins)

This is a collection of twenty-four songs and carols of the Christmas season arranged for four violins. All of the parts can be played in first position, but more advanced students may prefer to play some passages in higher positions. Most of the arrangements are just one verse long, so they may be repeated if desired. Some of the carols have two versions, the first usually simpler than the second. Each version may be performed separately, or both versions may be performed as a kind of first and second verse or theme and variation.
