There are seven suites of pieces presented by Michel Pignolet de Montéclair, Pierre Danican Philidor, Jacques-Martin Hotteterre and Michel de La Barre. The edition includes an informative preface about French ornamentation of the period. The new music engravings are very clean and easy to read.
