These Three Transcriptions for Viola and Piano were all originally composed for cello and piano. Bridging the 19th and 20th centuries, Clara Faisst, Mon Schjelderup, and Luise Le Beau were all pianists by training. They moved in circles with some of the great musicians of their time, but unfortunately none of them attained the same kind of fame. This collection of transcriptions brings to light some of the overlooked compositions of these three women.
