Audubon Strings, LLC

Store Front

We are a full-service violin shop located in the heart of the New Haven Arts District. We serve private and public music institutions, area universities and symphonies, school systems, as well as individuals by providing support to the string musician community.

 

  • We buy, sell, consign, and appraise fine bows, violins, violas, cellos, and gambas to meet the needs of the professional and recreational string musician.
  • Our luthiers perform the highest quality violin, viola, cello, doublebass, and gamba  repair and restoration work and bow rehair and repair.
  • Our sales staff are professional and recreational string players; assuring qualified assistance.
  • For our student community, we also rent and sell instruments that are affordable yet provide the best tonal characteristic we believe possible as rental instruments.
  • We assist the string community with our Community Outreach Programs as we work to advance string musicianship. ™
